This Thursday, I’ll be flying back to Charleston to be a maid of honor in my sister Katie’s wedding… and let me tell you, I am PUMPED. This will be quite the event, y’all. Kate is marrying Whit, a man I will be so thrilled to call my brother in law, there are nearly 400 people invited, the reception will be in my parent’s backyard, and I’ll be singing a hymn acapella apparently (as of yesterday, help).
So, for a little wedding favor, Katie had the idea for me to paint her bridal bouquet and a little Charleston scene in watercolors and make prints to give to the guests. Here is the bouquet! If you are headed to the wedding, you’re in for a little print of your choice.
As I was experimenting with watercolor florals in preparation to make just the right paintings for Katie, I had the best time. It lead me to focus primarily on watercolor florals. I’ll be releasing a new batch of them around early December that would make great Christmas presents.
